Refund & Cancellation Policy.
This Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, advance payments, ongoing services, advertising spend, and third-party costs are handled when you purchase professional services from Bijjou Ads.
Scope of This Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to professional services purchased from Bijjou Ads unless a signed or otherwise accepted project-specific agreement contains different cancellation or refund terms.
Bijjou Ads provides digital marketing, creative, strategic, advertising, search optimization, and website-related services. These services are generally customized to the needs of each client.
We do not currently sell or ship physical goods through the Bijjou Ads website. Accordingly, a physical-product return or shipping policy does not apply to our current business model.
If your proposal, statement of work, service agreement, or other accepted project document includes specific refund or cancellation terms, those project-specific terms control for that engagement to the extent they conflict with this Policy.
Who We Are
Bijjou Ads is a digital marketing brand operated by Bijjou LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
In this Policy, “Bijjou Ads,” “Bijjou LLC,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Bijjou LLC when operating the Bijjou Ads business.
“Client,” “you,” and “your” refer to the individual, company, or organization purchasing or requesting our services.
General Refund Principles
Our goal is to handle cancellation and refund requests fairly while recognizing that professional services may require planning, reserved capacity, custom work, and third-party commitments.
When determining whether a refund is due and the amount of any refund, we may consider:
- Whether work has started.
- The amount of work already completed.
- Deliverables already provided or approved.
- Time and resources already committed to the engagement.
- Non-cancellable third-party costs already incurred for the project.
- The applicable proposal, project scope, billing schedule, and other written project terms.
Where a refund is appropriate, the refundable amount will generally be the amount paid in advance for services that have not yet been earned or performed, after accounting for completed work and non-recoverable project costs.
Cancellation Before Work Begins
If you cancel a project before Bijjou Ads has begun substantive work and before non-refundable third-party costs have been incurred, prepaid service fees will generally be eligible for a full refund.
If we have already incurred a non-refundable expense specifically authorized or reasonably required for your project, that amount may be deducted from the refund.
We encourage clients to contact us as soon as possible if plans change before a project begins.
Cancellation After Work Begins
If you cancel after work has begun, Bijjou Ads is entitled to payment for work reasonably completed through the effective cancellation date.
If the amount you prepaid is greater than the value of completed work and non-recoverable project costs, the remaining unearned balance will generally be refundable.
Where a project uses clearly defined milestones, completed work may be determined by reference to those milestones.
If the project does not use milestone pricing, completed work may be assessed based on the proportion of the agreed scope reasonably completed before cancellation.
A client should not be charged for future work that Bijjou Ads has not performed, but work already completed and legitimate non-recoverable costs are not automatically refundable because a project is later cancelled.
Completed or Delivered Work
Fees attributable to work that has already been completed and delivered in accordance with the agreed project scope are generally not refundable based solely on a change of mind, change of strategy, or decision not to use the completed work.
If you believe a deliverable materially fails to meet the agreed scope, please contact us promptly and explain the issue.
Where appropriate, our first reasonable step may be to correct, revise, or complete the deliverable in accordance with the agreed scope.
If a material scope issue cannot reasonably be corrected, we may provide an appropriate partial or full refund for the affected portion of the service, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
A disagreement with marketing performance alone does not automatically establish that the agreed service was not provided, because marketing outcomes depend on multiple factors outside our control.
Deposits, Advance Payments, and Milestone Payments
Some projects may require a deposit, advance payment, or milestone payment before work begins or continues.
Unless the applicable project agreement clearly states that a particular fee is non-refundable:
- A payment made before work begins may remain refundable to the extent it has not been earned and no non-recoverable costs have been incurred.
- After work begins, the payment may be applied toward completed work and project costs.
- Any excess unearned amount remaining after cancellation will generally be refundable.
A project-specific agreement may designate a reservation fee, setup fee, or another specific amount as non-refundable when justified by the nature of the engagement and disclosed before payment.
Recurring and Ongoing Services
Some Bijjou Ads services may be provided on an ongoing or recurring basis, such as campaign management, social media management, SEO, content support, or consulting.
Recurring billing will only apply when it has been disclosed and agreed before recurring charges begin.
Unless your project agreement provides a different cancellation process, you may request cancellation of an ongoing service by contacting us at:
Once cancellation is confirmed:
- No new recurring service period will be billed after the effective cancellation date, subject to any agreed notice period.
- We will complete, stop, or transition current-period work as reasonably appropriate under the project terms.
- Fees already earned for work performed during the current service period are generally not refundable.
- Any prepaid amount for a future service period that has not begun will generally be refundable unless different terms were clearly agreed.
Cancellation of a recurring service does not automatically cancel or refund third-party subscriptions, advertising charges, or platform commitments controlled by another provider.
Paid Advertising and Media Spend
Advertising media spend is separate from Bijjou Ads professional management fees unless a written project agreement expressly states otherwise.
Amounts already charged or consumed by advertising platforms such as search engines, social media platforms, or other media providers are subject to the policies of those third parties and are not controlled by Bijjou Ads.
Bijjou Ads cannot guarantee that an advertising platform will refund media spend that has already been charged, used, committed, or otherwise processed by that platform.
If Bijjou Ads directly holds client funds specifically designated for future advertising spend and those funds have not yet been spent or committed, any unused client balance will be reconciled and returned where appropriate.
Third-Party Costs
Some projects may require purchases from third-party providers.
Examples may include:
- Domain registrations.
- Website hosting.
- Premium plugins.
- Software subscriptions.
- Stock photography, video, or licensed assets.
- External creative or technical services.
- Advertising and media costs.
If a third-party charge has already been incurred and the third-party provider does not allow us to recover that amount, that cost may be non-refundable.
Where possible, material third-party costs that the client will be responsible for should be disclosed or approved during the project process.
Client Delays or Inactivity
Projects may require timely client feedback, approvals, content, credentials, account access, business information, or other materials.
If a project is delayed because required client input is not provided, Bijjou Ads may pause the project and adjust the delivery schedule.
If the client later chooses to cancel the project, the normal cancellation principles in this Policy will apply. Completed work and non-recoverable costs may be deducted from any prepaid balance before a refund is calculated.
A client delay does not automatically convert completed work into refundable work.
Cancellation by Bijjou Ads
Bijjou Ads may decline, suspend, or terminate an engagement where reasonably necessary, including in circumstances involving:
- Material non-payment.
- Fraud or suspected unlawful activity.
- Serious security concerns.
- Repeated failure to provide information necessary to perform the services.
- Requests that would require us to violate applicable law or platform policies.
- Another material breach of the applicable project agreement.
If Bijjou Ads ends a prepaid project for reasons not caused by a client's material breach, we will generally refund the unearned portion of prepaid Bijjou Ads service fees after accounting for work already completed and legitimate non-recoverable costs.
If a project ends because of the client's material breach, amounts already earned for completed work remain payable and refund eligibility will be determined under the applicable agreement and law.
How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To request a cancellation, refund, or review of a payment, contact Bijjou Ads directly at:
To help us review your request efficiently, please include:
- Your name.
- Your company name, if applicable.
- The project or service concerned.
- The relevant invoice, payment, or transaction reference if available.
- Whether you are requesting cancellation, a refund, or both.
- A short explanation of the reason for the request.
We may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify the request or identify the relevant payment.
We aim to acknowledge refund and cancellation requests within 3 business days.
Refund Approval and Processing
After receiving the information necessary to review a refund request, we will assess the project status, work completed, applicable project terms, and relevant costs.
If a refund is approved, Bijjou Ads aims to initiate the refund within 5 business days after approval.
Where reasonably possible, refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
After Bijjou Ads initiates a refund, the time required for the funds to appear in your account depends on the payment processor, payment method, card network, and your financial institution.
Processing by those third parties may require additional business days and is outside the direct control of Bijjou Ads.
If the original payment method cannot accept the refund, we may contact you to determine an appropriate lawful alternative.
Billing Questions and Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, duplicated, unauthorized, or inconsistent with an agreed project term, please contact us promptly at:
We encourage direct communication because many billing issues can be reviewed and resolved more quickly when we can identify the relevant project and transaction.
Nothing in this Policy prevents you from exercising a legitimate dispute, chargeback, statutory refund, or other payment right available under applicable law, card-network rules, or your financial institution's procedures.
Knowingly filing a false payment dispute does not eliminate valid payment obligations for services actually provided.
Mandatory Legal Rights
This Policy is intended to describe Bijjou Ads' commercial refund and cancellation practices.
It does not exclude, restrict, or waive any consumer protection, refund, cancellation, dispute, or other legal right that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
If mandatory law gives you stronger rights than this Policy, those mandatory rights will apply.
The applicability of specific consumer rights may depend on factors such as your location, whether you are acting as a consumer or as a business, and the nature of the transaction.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy when our services, billing practices, payment systems, or legal obligations change.
The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the current version became effective.
Changes to this website Policy will not automatically rewrite the commercial terms of an already accepted project agreement unless the parties validly agree to that change or applicable law requires it.
